Beloved of Christ Jesus, the Word of God in Job 42:2 (NLT) says; “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you.” The word ‘fail’ has meanings such as to be unsuccessful and to fall short. Every one of us has experienced failure in life. Nevertheless, failure that we experience is a common thing and it is not the worst thing in the world. God sometimes may allow failure in this life to open our spiritual eyes that without Him we cannot do anything significant. Proverbs 19:21 (NIV) says, “Many are the plans in a person’ heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” It is when we fail that we realize that without God we cannot do anything. And at the moment we raise our hand in surrender, God will stretch out His hand to show His power. “So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9b – NLT)
As believer we should not be quick to give up when faced with failure, because we are not the only one who have failed. Do not assume that failure has no way out. We must believe that opportunity comes more than once if we are patient. As long as we are willing to work hard, the opportunity to succeed is wide open. Take things positively from each failure. And learn to always involve God in all aspects of life, because His will and plan never fails. Brother and sisters in Christ, let us make failures as stepping stones to success.
