Redeem

Beloved in Christ Jesus, God is a Divine Person; He doesn’t tolerate sin and He demands punishment for sin. Jesus Christ shed His blood not only to redeem us from our sins, but also as a mercy seat so that God does not see our sins anymore. Jesus’ death at the cross has become the reason for a just God to forgive sinful mankind. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18) The word “redeem” means to release from bondage, captvity, or death with ransom as the payment. Jesus’ blood has been offered to God as ransom for us so that we may be freed from sin and death. This means that He took our place, took our punishment and died for us. He endured the punishment so that we could be freed from it. Beloved in Christ Jesus, do not belitle the sacrifce of Christ at the cross. He became a man so that He may die in our place for He alone is the holy and unblemished man. Christ sacrifced His life to cover our sins so that whoever is willing to repent and believe in Him may receive salvaton. May the grace and peace of God be with you. Amen!
