Beloved of Christ Jesus, we are very grateful to God because many Christians are aware of their callings and have a burning spirit to serve and please God that they could not withhold their lips and tongues to always testify about “…how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” (Ephesians 3:18) to everyone they meet regardless of time and place. For some Christians witnessing is something normal, but not all Christians want to practice it for some reasons, nevertheless our living testimony is a manifestation of the confession of our faith as a believer. Christianity without a living testimony can be said to be a dead faith. As James 2:17 says: “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
As the people who has been redeemed, saved and experiencing the love of God, we have the duty and responsibility as His witnesses in the midst of this world. As His witness, we are to tell, recount and relate to others everything that we are experiencing with Christ so that others may know and experience the same love we are experiencing. Jesus beloved, as a witness of Christ we must bear witness and proclaim the person of Christ and His work, not showing or prioritizing ourselves. “He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30) God bless you. Amen!
