Beloved of Christ Jesus, the Word of God in Job 42:10 says, “And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Whenever the name of Job is mentioned, what often comes to our mind is a person whose life was full of suffering. In Job’s life, trials after trials came to him – his children died; his possessions seized; he was mocked by his own wife; and he himself suffered an excruciating disease. If someone is in his situation, there is a high possibility he would not want to go through it. Would we considered Job a failure based on the severity of the suffering he had faced? Does not the Word of God promises to bless those who live righteously? If we take this as our conclusions, then Job indeed was a failure. But, such a view is wrong. Is there anyone who has never failed in their lives? Even the achievers have had many failures in their lives. Rather than giving up they learn from the failures and take it as a valuable lesson to rise up and fight even stronger. Despite all the sufferings Job was able to endure and maintain his faith in God and say, “But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” (Job 23:10).
Beloved of Christ Jesus, perhaps you are in a helpless situation at this point in your life. Do not lose hope, but bring all your problems to God, because He will surely help you and show you a way out of your problem. And, to they that put their hope in the Lord, “… surely there is a future, and your hope will not be lost.” Proverbs 23:18. May the Lord
